She is a keen gardener with an arts background who\, having completed a Masters in Landscape Architecture at UCD in 2000\, joined the staff of the Teagasc College of Horticulture in the National Botanic Gardens working as a lecturer specializing in Design and Plant Materials. \nShe is a very keen gardener with an interest in landscape architecture and\, on occasion\, opens her own garden to the public. \n  \n
