Foxrock and District Garden Club organises a number of gardening outings throughout the year. These generally consist of visits to gardens, many of them not usually open to the public and may be for a day or for several days, covering gardens and garden centres in Ireland or abroad. Irish trips are by private coach which fortunately has plenty of room for the plants which we inevitably bring back.

Trips are generally only available to Foxrock and District Garden Club members and are announced as they become available both at our monthly meetings, by email and on this website. They are very popular and members enjoy the opportunity to chat and exchange information and tips and promises of plants.

Members are advised to keep themselves informed of available trips.  Please also be aware of the physical demands of our trips as you consider participating.  We also advise participating members to have full travel insurance cover.

Trips arranged through the Travel Department can be booked with on a first-come, first-served basis on or after the specified booking date. Bookings will NOT be taken before then.

Places on trips arranged directly by the Club are allocated by lottery based on the details given per event.
