“Growing and arranging flowers seasonally and sustainably” – Fionnuala Fallon
28 January @ 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
Fionnuala Fallon is a trained horticulturist, gardening correspondent for The Irish Times, author and flower farmer. With her photographer husband, Richard Johnston, she grows a very wide range of seasonal, sustainably-produced cut-flowers on her flower farm in a Victorian walled garden in west Wicklow. She uses her flowers to create bouquets and arrangements for private customers, restaurants, events, weddings and for TV and films.
Fionnuala is particularly interested in the impact of climate change on gardening and what that means for sustainable planting and the growing of seasonal, sustainably-produced Irish cut flowers.
