In the three years since our last update, Emer had a very successful plant sale in 2018 and again in 2019, as a result of which we were able to further improve Kilgarvan and deal with some over-hanging branches and other issues. The garden has matured considerably and because it is now relatively low maintenance, we were able to keep it going over last year and this year, with, due to restrictions, just one or just two of us working there on some Wednesdays, but thanks to vaccinations, we are now back to a reduced normal. Our financial reserves have, however, taken a hammering and we hope to be able to have another plant sale this year – perhaps in September. This will be well flagged in advance and we would very much appreciate the continued support of members and friends.
